Multiple Branch Automation and Relay Control with MQTT
NetRelay devices in different cities or locations can establish an outward connection to the central MQTT server without having to open ports on branch modems. Input, relay, sensor and connection status of all branches can be monitored live from a single panel; authorized users can securely manage the target branch's relays remotely.

Centralized MQTT architecture without opening ports
Each NetRelay device initiates an outbound connection from the branch's local network to the central MQTT broker. This approach eliminates the need for incoming connection port forwarding on the branch modem and prevents devices from connecting directly to the Internet. Device data is separated from each other by assigning unique MQTT user information and topic structure to each branch.
Live monitoring and relay control from a single panel
Online status, digital inputs, relay positions, sensor measurements and event records of the branches can be viewed live on the central management panel. Authorized operator; It can remotely manage lighting, air conditioning, pumps, doors, barriers, alarm or restart relays by sending a special command to the branch it chooses. Target user authentication ensures that the command is executed only by the selected device.
Alarm, reporting and operations automation
Automatic alarms can be generated at headquarters when a branch goes offline, the sensor value exceeds a specified threshold, or the input status changes. Incident history can be reported; Workflows can be created such as turning off equipment that remains on outside working hours, restarting the disconnected modem with a relay, and sending notifications to the technical team under certain conditions.
Secure remote management approach
TLS, strong and branch-specific passwords, topic-based access rules and VPN can be used for central broker access when necessary. Thus, a scalable central monitoring and control infrastructure can be established without providing direct internet access to the devices in the branches. Critical relay commands can be audited with role-based authorization and event logging.
